Sapienza Corse Racing Team means challenging the norm: Gajarda 2016 is the first AWD FSAE European vehicle with an electronically controlled intelligent torque vectoring system. The electronic system, developed with National Instruments’ support and sponsorship, controls most parts of car, such as drivetrain and gear-shift. The intensive use of carbon fiber, from monocoque to airbox, from rims to uprights, makes the prototype one of the lightest among Italian teams, thanks to our main sponsor Pro-Lite. A strong passion and drive towards continuous research of new solutions distinguish each member: everyone has a specific role, but is also able to collaborate for the collective aim.
