Engenius is a team of students from the University of Aveiro, in Portugal. The team has an entrepreneurial, motivated and creative spirit, organised within 3 main divisions: management, development and design.

Inspired by the eagle, a bird of prey with strength and insight to overcome any challenge, AQUILA is the car we are presenting. The car has a strong focus on performance and tuning flexibility, but always allied to factors such as high versatility, a competitive price and a low cost of ownership. Furthermore, an attractive design is also a high value asset. For example, we have a sub-chassis which is a complementary structure designed to allow the use of multiple different engines, without changing any other component of the car and enabling a quick swap of the engine. For example: the present version of the car is designed to be fitted with a Suzuki GSXR 600 engine. However, if the buyer of the car wishes to use a different engine, the team provides several sub-chassis pre-designed for the more suitable engines (Honda CBR 600,Yamaha R6, Kawasaki ZX-6R), as well as custom options, and the customer can choose any one.
