The Class 2 team of UGRacing are solely made up of new-comers to Formula student, mostly 1st year engineering students. This is our first opportunity in automotive design, so our car is ever changing and improving week by week.
Our car features a short 1550mm wheelbase and makes use of 10″ wheels meaning we set ourselves the task of designing to tight parameters. We also benefit from working along side our Class 1 team so we learn more about their car and thus the design targets and specifications required of a formula student car.
