Team Profile

TS-15 Class 2 had been designed with the revolution of previous year’s designs in mind. We have moved up from a space frame chassis to a monocoque space frame hybrid, which allowes for the reduction of weight and improvement in strength. We opted to use a single cylinder engine to reduce weight even further, this has allowed for a better packaging of the car. This will be ther first year that Team Sussex has enter a Class 2 team, consisting of 8 third year students, all to progress onto the design of Team Sussex’s Class 1 car next year.
