For sure. These “one and done” auditions are worthless. Why give Tatar the benefit of many, many games when he isn’t working out. Same for when Tufte when he is brought up. Give him five games to show what he has. Heck, if he doesn’t score a goal, he’ll be just like having Tatar in the lineup. Kind of like the saying, “Honey, it hurts so bad when you’re gone, it’s almost like you’re still here.”

Considering makar is hurt and girard is out, byram aint going nowhere as avs defense is thin.

As for the forwards. They have to figure out the 2nd line.

I do think pavel should center the 4th line and kovalenko is coming over towards end of the season. Olausson can’t be worse then Tatar. But I do think they should give him like 5 games before just sending him down after one game

I suspect that’s where he’s headed. If it were to replace Cogliano, it seems like they would have called up Tufte or Meyers. I’m guessing McDermid goes in for Cogliano and Olausson goes in for Tatar.
