Team Profile:
We are a multidisciplinary team of 30 students from Queen Mary university of London studying in the school of Engineering, Maths, Business or Physics. The team is managed and led by Habiba Yasmin, with the technical sub teams and operations team supervised by Joshua Crook and Ghazal Khoshnood respectively. This will be the first time that the Queen Mary formula student team are participating in the competition and all team members have been working hard to realise this dream. We are currently sponsored by MSC software and are acquiring two further leading sponsors.
The car is a basic single seat race car focusing on simplicity and cost. Therefore, the car uses an unmodified triumph tt-600 engine with a simple street space frame and a cost effective suspension set up.
