Team Profile

We are the Alexandria University Motorsports Electric (AUM-E) team. Our team is small but works together efficiently to design the first fully electric race car to join Formula Student competitions from Egypt. This year, we’re joining Class 2 as a prep step to building our car and to gain experience with the different challenges to designing electric vehicle. Our special feature is a team designed in-wheel outer-rotor motors that power our cars with no need for any transmission elements.
