I think trading Girard at this juncture would be a huge mistake. A few years ago I was in the trade him & free up that 5 million. But that was when Bo was still here & we all assumed he was going to vault Girard on the depth chart. Now..can’t do it.

Brannstrom is horrendous defensively. Kylington is not a PTO guy only because of one good year a few seasons ago when he had Tanev as his D partner. And Malinski is nowhere near ready to play top 4 minutes. So if you trade Girard, who eats those top 4 minutes?

LOL, no. None of those guys are as good as Girard.

Compared to previous years, there isn’t much to chew on. What am I paying for exactly? Instead of deleting my comments you should get to work and answer the one who pay for your job.

I see very few Avalanche news compared to what we are used to get. What am I paying for again?

Just trade Girard and put malinski brannstrom with manson. Then malinski with de Haan and kylington as 7th dmen.

They can use the cap space and and get draft capital along with prospects

He did have a few mishaps, including just the bad luck of Duchene deflecting the puck off his skate and in for the GWG, but overall he looked really strong. Rosen should clear waivers no problem, and honestly de Haan probably would too if waived, but he’s most likely to win the other spot in the bottom pairing. So what do we do with Brannstrom and Kylington? I say we keep them both with the NHL club and rotate them in from game to game like goalies. I don’t know if an NHL club has ever experimented with something like that, but I feel like this would be the blue line to try it with.
