The Avs were great at shooting the puck in the 1st period, even Middleton was firing pucks on net and assisted on the 1st goal. After that most of the team reverted back to overpassing.

Kiviranta getting a goal after 16 games is reflective of the lack of scoring from the bottom 6. The bottom 6 should provide at least a point a game, not once a week. In 26 games since returning from injury, Colton has 7 points. His last point was an assist on January 14th.
