Kiviranta goes full tilt every time he’s on the ice. No lack of effort there. Very consistent from game to game. Great work on the PK. A solid “glue” guy.

I mean, crouching, he towers over the net. But the big difference between just a big goalie and MB is his quick legs and smooth side to side movement. With Wood squared in net, the Avalanche have the opportunity to reel in some wins and be competitive all the way towards the playoffs. Yes, they’ve dug themselves a hole but I’m more concerned with how they are playing this coming April. That’s when the second season starts and it really counts.
