That could be true. I should also mention this Notre Dame is a boarding school located in a town of 300 people. The team playing in the SJHL. Interesting choice for him.

Drafting 18-year-old kids in the 1st round is no guarantee of big success but to me it seems the real measure of good scouting is getting a few hits outside of the 1st or even 2nd round.
