Barrie, along with EJ and Duchene each took time before the game to talk with him. Then during the player intros before the anthem, he stood next to Barrie, and Barrie gave him a stick tap as his name was announced.

Crosby dream would be very interesting. Mikko would be the only option that could make sense for both teams. I think if Sid were here, you would see Cup Mackinnon return and Hart Mackinnon would go away. Can’t imagine anyone in the world could get more out of Nate than “The Kid”.

Nichushkin can’t play until Nov. 13 at the earliest, so no. Landeskog? I’d be surprised if he played in the first month, but there’s a lot of mystery around that still.

A lovely tribute, showing the comraderie of the NHL. I also always like Barrie, and it would be nice to see him play for a team that wants him this season. Bummer about Lorentz, but I’m sure there will be other PTOs for us to try.

Basically, the Preds coach doesn’t like him and has told Tyson he never wanted Tyson on his team and won’t play him. The coach has basically told the Preds it’s him or Tyson. I don’t know why the organization lets the coach get away with that, but they do.

Hope he thrives with Calgary. Closer to home and family for him. He is a great guy from a great family.
