I hate Dallas too, trust me, but I can’t fathom McDavid hoisting the cup. I’m sick of MacKinnon having to play 2nd fiddle to him in every single ranking, so the least MacKinnon can do is have the lead on him in Cups. Rooting for Dallas to knock out Edmonton, then Dallas can go to hell in the SCF

As an Avs fan it’s impossible to root for Dallas. Even besides the fact that they are slime balls. Listening to them whine about Hintz after the crap Marchment and Benn pulled is rich.

Oh Canada! An Edmonton win in this political climate would be a nice win for that country. Plus – – I enjoy the way the Oilers play. Very, very physical. They sustain their checks. They don’t throw blind passes up to the point. They attack, attack, attack. What a fabulous transition game without fumbling and stumbling with the puck and counting on one guy to break the defense down. Their “D” men put accurate, hard shots on goal.

The Oilers have the muscle to outwork their opponents in the corners and the skill to put the biscuit in the basket. I love seeing Dallas getting pummeled all over the ice. Something the Avs can never do with their current lineup. The Oilers have bought into the team defense mantra. Did you notice that almost every Dallas Star player with the puck has someone challenging him and “in his face.” Two more to go then the battle for the Cup.
