The Manson Girard pairing has never really worked. Outside of when he was first acquired.

He’s been playing on a line with Mitts & Nuke. So you’re wrong that he’s been playing in the bottom 6. And he’s been back for all of 2 games. One of which was a blow out (NJ). So I wouldn’t read anything into his ice time. He’s a top 6 forward, at the very least until Drouin returns.

Sources online are saying Wedgie will get the start tonight vs UTH. Blackwood is having a health issue and likely not totally ready yet. But, rest assured, Blackwood is the starter moving forward as it’s why the FO brought him to COL. He was not hired to be the backup which is Wedgie’s job.
