FormulaDIT have been competing since 2010, operating through the Mechanical and Design Engineering Faculty, with team members undertaking key areas as part of their final year thesis for either the Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing and Design Engineering Undergraduate degrees.
FDIT focuses on creating a lightweight car at an affordable price point. For the first time FDIT has opted for a full aerodynamic package, to really push the boundaries of their abilities. The 2017 team has really put a focus on reliability and ease of maintenance and use of the car.
