Clear River Racing is representing Karlstad University for the 10th year at the Formula Student competition at Silverstone circuit.
The team is made up of 36 students, most studying different disciplines of engineering. The car for the new season, CRR17, has been designed foremost to achieve a higher level of reliability than pervious cars. CRR17 features, among numerous smaller changes, a turbocharged Husqvarna 501, a full aero package with sculpted floor and sidepod wings. It also features a custom dashboard integrated in the steering wheel. Most of the components are designed and manufactured by the members themselves.
