Team Superior Engineering is a very young team who built their first car in 2016.

Their new race car, Griffin, has a slick design and camouflage colours. They have invested in a high power Triumph three-cylinder engine, based on its reliability and simplicity of manufacture.  To keep the weight of the car down, the team implemented a large number of carbon fibre parts in their design including the monocoque and very light carbon fibre rims. For the sake of easier access to the engine and heat management they have made a hybrid chassis, carbon monocoque and steel spaceframe in the back. To make sure the car really shreds the corners, the team designed independent suspension with double A-arms with pull and push rod actuated adjustable dampers. This unique learning experience wouldn’t be possible without their main partners Mahle, SHD Composites, Kolektor and TPV.
