The Southampton University Formula Student Team (SUFST) was revived in 2013 and has competed for the past four years in the Formula Student competition.

Entering their fifth year in the competition, they firmly believe that the knowledge and experience they have accrued over the last 4 years will enable them to greatly improve on their achievements last year. Having learnt the lessons from the past four years, they hope that these goals have been met and will stand them in good stead for the competition. The 2017 car, Stag 4 has been designed and built with lessons learnt from their most successful car to date, Stag 3. SUFST is a volunteer team made up of over 70 students, with members from all degree courses. This means that all the work that has gone into this year’s car has been completed in their spare time. They would like to thank all of their sponsors for their support in helping them to reach this stage and they are looking forward to their continued partnership in the future.
