Formula Student Bizkaia (FSB) consists of 40 students from different fields of engineering who have worked with passion to create the FSB2017.

The FSB2017 will be the second dual motor powered single seater and has been designed to maximize performance and reliability. Its new features include a completely self-developed aerodynamic package, new gear-based steering system, new telemetry DAQ system and fully adjustable suspension. Weight reduction is one of the main issues when designing and to achieve it the team has incorporated new materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium honeycomb in essential elements such as the aerodynamic package or the monocoque. All composite elements of the single seater are self-made. Novel internal information managing techniques and experimental data have allowed the team to improve the lamination procedure and optimize the number of layers used. All these innovations are focused on taking FSB a step further to compete at the highest level, not only by creating the best FSB vehicle possible, but also by improving the technology and knowledge of the team.
