Lund University is one of the oldest universities in northern Europe, with roots dating back to 1438.
Ranked as one of the top 100 Universities in the world, it has an international atmosphere, which is reflected on this year’s Formula Student team. With members from five different nationalities, Lund Formula Student Engineering is ready to compete and be the best at Silverstone.
With a “premium standard” business concept tied to the design guidelines of reliability, manufacturability and adjustability, we aim to bring an affordable premium performance car to this year’s competition. All of that achieved with the tubular space frame and the Honda CBR600 RR engine. LUR-PS keeps our drivers at the centre of our design by focusing on driver experience and low maintenance as key elements.
Our production team is mainly organized into R&D and Business management. R&D comprises of five sub teams: Vehicle Dynamics, Frame & Safety, Engine, Electronics and Aerodynamics. Business management has the Program Management and Marketing & Partnership functions. Additionally, a support team manages finances, web design and other administrative functions.
Lund Formula Student Engineering would also like to thank all of our highly valued sponsors, without whom we would not have been able to grow on a professional level and as individuals. Together we have created something incredible.
