DART Racing is a voluntary high school group that dedicated itself to promote research and development for the construction of electrical vehicles.
Our team is looking forward competing other teams from all over the world in one of the most famous formula student events.
The vehicle strategy follows the company strategy and strives for highest capacity and efficiency of the car. Therefore we increased our vertical range of manufacturing and co-work with different leading specialists in industry for different car parts. This years focus is on energy retrieval and reducing energy consumption. To meet these requirements, the lambda2016 is only made from material with the best valuable ratio in weight to consumption and performance. By having an improved production plan for 2016 we also kept an eye on the work-life-balance of all team members.
The lambda2016 is designed as a single seated formula race car with state-of-the-art-technology both on the mechanical and electrical side. The single-part monocoque gives us a key advantage in stiffness value compared to multi-part monocoques. Compared to previous cars, the lambda2016 has an optimized effort of the chassis.
Our powertrain, aiming for an increase of the drivetrain´s agility has been completely reengineered, leading to further weight and rotational inertia reduction.
