Full Blue Racing is proud to present the FBR16, our 8th entry into Formula Student UK. Our 2016 strategy has been to design a car for ease of manufacture, whilst being low cost, reliable, and ultimately fast. Changes implemented this year include laying up our bodywork in-house, simplifying the rear chassis structure, and switching to a top entry intake system.
The team is now entering its 10th year, and continues to go from strength to strength. We had our most successful year ever at FSUK in 2015, and have built on this by continuing to test the FBR15 throughout the academic year, to improve handling and responsiveness. The team comprises of around 30 undergraduates from throughout the University, who devote their spare time outside their academic commitments to design, build and race.
