“Team Spark is the only Icelandic Formula Student electrical team. Since 2011 Team Spark has competed yearly at the Silverstone racetrack.
Our design emphasises on performance and sustainability. This year the design was enhanced from last year, and built in a single year by a team of 43 Icelandic engineering students from various engineering departments.
We are proud of the fact that a quarter of our team is female, making the group diverse and multidisciplinary. The team shortened the design time, and the car was ready to drive in March. 2014 Team Spark was awarded the Best newcomer in class 1 award, and last year we doubled our design points.
This year we have high hopes towards our success at the competition. We drove on frozen lake Hafravatn in January on last years car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZKcXZIiOnI”
