Team Profile:

Formula NUST Racing (FNR) is the only participating team from Pakistan at Formula Student 2014. The team was formed in 2012 and has participated in Formula Student 2012 and 2013.
The 2014 entrant of FNR team is named NAS’14 after the team’s late faculty advisor, Dr Nadeem Ahmed whose devotion and dedication shall always be remembered.
This year the team comprises of 30 undergraduate students, including sophomores, juniors and seniors. This year we have taken a basic and practical approach on producing a simple and reliable car. In the NAS’14 design ease of manufacturing and low cost were the governing factors. A number of parts that were bought off the shelf for 2013 have been developed in-house. We are targeting a weight reduction of over 30kg over our 2013 car.
Our aim for Formula Student 2014 is to improve on static event performance, pass all the tests and finish endurance.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our partners and supporters. Their goodwill and support has been vital to us.
We hope to have a great time at Formula Student and wish all the participating teams, Good Luck!
