Team profile
“Formula Student RUDN team was formed in 2011 year. Our team appearance was originated under the banner of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.
By now we have created a hard working crew of interested students with interior strict hierarchy pressing towards our main aim – win Formula Student competition. Each person knows his responsibilities and works on his own task of concrete department.
Each department has a person in charge, who controls working process and gives a report of done things. Three supervisory members of team review these reports and give following instructions. At the head of team is our team leader, who controls every aspect of its functioning. In 2014 year we exerted every effort to reduce the weight of the car having approached to the grade of 240 kg.
Great progress can be seen in frame construction, we have increased its stiffness, and also in suspension operating and its arrangement. Yamaha R6 engine was exposed to modifications and adjustment in order to achieve optimal working with new designed intake and exhaust systems. A well thought-out bodywork acquired considerably better form and appearance. FS RUDN Team is conducting a thorough preparation to UK Event and looking forward to the taste of victory.”
