Team Profile
“Expect More Drive” pushes Thomas More Innovation to keep improving.

Thomas More Innovation, is a small but committed team of 13 mechanical engineering students and 4 bachelors of technology students, based in Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Belgium. The team was founded in 2009 and we are currently building our third electric car. Our main goal for 2014 is to have a very reliable car with high lateral acceleration and high adaptability.

Our team is driven by a passion for Formula Student and the end result will make all the late nights, hard work and continuous pressure to perform more than worth it.

What makes us unique is the use of sustainable materials and production methods throughout our design to lower our carbon footprint even further.

Additional information
– We go the extra mile in beeing ecological. Our body panels are made of flax-fiber, batterypack casing is made from basalt-fiber. We use green and efficient production methods as often af possible.

– We have a Stig (actual name) in our team, yet he did not make the driver selection.

– We will also compete in the FSGermany and FSSpain competition.

– We are using an efficient and silent toothed belt drive for the first time.
