Team Profile

New season, new Team, new cars. We are excited and really looking forward to compete against the best Teams from all over the World. One of the biggest Highlights in our season is Silverstone, not only because it is the first contest with the nb014 but also because for the first time both our combustion and electric cars are going to take the long journey to the UK.

Based on the campus of the Technische Universität München in Garching close to Munich, we are now building our 11th combustion car. As always, the nb014 is going to incorporate a number of innovations compared to its predecessors.

The aerodynamic package and the suspensions have been redesigned so that they work in harmony together.

The most important evolution is the new engine: After 10 years with a 600cc Kawasaki straight-4, this year’s car is powered by a light and efficient 510cc single cylinder engine from KTM.
