Team Profile:
HorsePower Hannover e.V. was founded in 2007 by a group of 10 engineering students. The first events were FS UK Silverstone and FSG Hockenheim in the year 2009 with the “RacePony09” which was a combustion car. During the season the team got much know-how and so we were able to produce the winner combustion car of Barcelona, the “RH10”, which means RaceHorse. After this success HorsePower stroked new paths and began with constructing an electric race car. The eH11 was born. The result of the season 2011 was a substantial progress in the static events and the first steps in electrified mobility. Following the name scheme, in 2012 the eH12 was born with which we attended FSUK and FSS. Once again in Barcelona, HorsePower Hannover was decorated with a tropgy: We won the Best Teamwork Award!
By saving the know-how, and establishing new structures of organization, the HorsePower team with more than 45 interdisciplinary students is looking forward to a great season and is giving themselves a vision. HorsePower should be a sustainably network with our partners and a place to educate the members in addition to the studies and at last having much fun in an innovative project.
