Team Profile

The 2012 UPCT Racing Team prototype has been conceived with a great effort in the searching of innovative solutions for the different vehicle systems such as the use of a monoshock front suspension system, and including a especially light overall weight, high mechanical resistance and good dynamical stability and a minimum possible height (950 mm) for a tubular steel frame.

Even with the 20 mm restriction, 80 HP and 50 Nm (1000/7000 rpm) have been taken out of the Suzuki GSX-R K6 (600cm3) engine.

The 2012 prototype is a radical evolution of the 2010 version. Everything has been changed and improved looking for the best results.
