Team Profile
This year Team HARE has embarked on the largest redevelopment program in the teams’ 11 year history. The team has moved from a four cylinder Honda CBR 600 to a KTM single cylinder engine. With this move the team has been able to redevelop all the major components of the vehicle to dramatically reduce the overall mass, however, reliability has not been compromised with the use of extensive test work coupled with FEA optimisation. Even with this extensive redevelopment program the team has met the manufacturing schedule which has enabled extensive test work to be completed to optimise the vehicle.
The teams aim for this year has been to develop the overall project to maximise the potential points on offer for each competition. The team believes that using this strategy will result in Team HARE’s most successful year to date.
