Team Profile
ELiTH Racing is formed by a group of highly committed engineering students from different programs at Linköping University. With support from the university and the industry, ELiTH Racing is proud to present the first car ERIC-01 which is mostly built upon Sweden’s fine industry knowledge and products; e.g. the aluminum used in ERIC-01 is the same used in aircrafts, providing supreme strength properties. Having Linköping University and some of the world’s biggest and finest industries as partners, ELiTH Racing has the presumption to go far in the world-wide competitions.
2012 is the first year ELiTH Racing participates and we are prepared for this big challenge.
The body was made in cooperation with Marströms Composites who are world leading in carbon boat building whilst the design was made with a fighter aircraft in mind which might at first cause a bit of confusion but this is not a coincidence. The team wanted to build a fast manouverable car lending its abilities from the Gripen while being able to cope with the british weather.
