“unfiltered Dater” – THIS is what I’ve subscribed for. It was what I asked him whether or not he’d bring it, if the boys play poorly, say so, if they play brilliantly, say so. No middle of the road watered down daffodil refuse. If I want that I’ll go to -site(s) name withheld-and curse that I wasted good time doing so.

That was, of course, if I was able to find a story at all!!

AD’s got my support on this and am excited for it.

]]> By: troian https://coloradohockeynow.com/2019/06/13/colorado-hockey-now-sale-avalanche-dater/#comment-58 Sat, 15 Jun 2019 20:08:25 +0000 https://coloradohockeynow.com/?p=81#comment-58 AD-I just “found” you a year ago or so – we exchanged a couple of emails (on the pros and cons of inter alia Zadorov, Pietrangelo, and coaching) and I wrote one of the more recent iTunes reviews for your former site (that emphasized what superb insight you provide…not to mention that “Blood Feud” is one of the two best sports books I’ve ever read, along side “Distant Replay”)…can’t wait to tag along on this journey with you and hope to cross paths with you during the upcoming season if only to express gratitude in person (whatever your choice may be)…got up to Vancouver last year, and will try to plan at least one good journey this year as well (guessing San Jose, Ottawa, or Toronto), in addition to the standard quick jaunt to St. Louis (albeit far more expensive this go-around I suspect).. Anyone who isn’t fully versed in what you provide but gives this even the briefest of perusals will be blown away. Best of wishes and hope the draft, schedule announcement, camp, and season get here soon – with a little luck, the Avs could have been hoisting that Cup (not that they were the best team last year), and I think this coming year and for several more to come they will be seriously contending to do so…nothing will ever top 1996, but with 2001 now being nearly two decades in the past, and with the character on this team, it will still be special.
