That’s because I can watch Altitude broadcasts on Hulu, but because ESPN is incredibly stupid about how they use their streaming service, I won’t get to see any of the games on ESPN or ABC – unless they miraculously change direction on that. Then, I only have the basic HBO Max subscription at the moment, so I’ll only get the TNT games if I upgrade – which I may. Cable and satellite TV is stupid expensive, and hardly worth the crazy price, and I don’t have regular antenna TV for the ABC games.

Still, I shouldn’t complain too much, because watching around 60 Avs games is better than the zero Nuggets games I’m likely to be able to watch with my current services. Thank goodness for Altitude radio – because even if you don’t like Connor McGahee (and I would understand, because he is an enormous homer) at least it’s free to stream on my phone. So, looks like me and others who have similar TV options to me are looking at 17+ radio broadcasts this season (I also get blacked out from games against Chicago, Minnesota, and St. Louis because I live in Iowa, and the NHL has stupid blackout rules).
