Team Profile

The team, born in 2009 as POMOS Reparto Corse, at the end of 2011 changed its name in Tuscia Reparto Corse and it is now located at ENEA Research Centre of Casaccia, between Rome and Viterbo; the team laboratories are equipped for the design, construction and testing of innovative and educational prototypes. The team is able to fulfill all the process, from design to management during racing competitions for experimental and promotional purposes.

TRC cover a very important educational role, with the participation of university students to all the activity of the team; the curriculum of a good young automotive engineer needs a strong and effectiveness practical experience of real group work.

The 2012 project have focused main resources in reducing the overall car weight and improve car handling. Moreover, great efforts have been dedicated to optimise engine performances in 6,000rpm to 10,000rpm range.

Tuscia Reparto Corse (TRC) is the Formula Student Racing team of Tuscia University, Viterbo, founded in collaboration with the Research Centre for Transport and Logistics of Sapienza University of Rome and ENEA Research Centre, with the aim of participate to motorsport events and competitions with an ecologic and educational feeling.
