Team Profile
FS Team UiS was founded july 2011, to be among the first Norwegian teams to enter an FS contest. The team consists of 11 highly motivated mechanical engineers educated at the University of Stavanger, making sure to leave a footprint at FSUK 2012.
This is the University of Stavanger’s first contribution to an engineering contest, and we appreciate all the support from the faculty and the institute. Each member is responsible for their own area, but since we are a relatively small team, we see ourselves as a dynamic group with lots of humor. As a first year team, our motto is KISS (Keep it simple, stupid).
We wanted to make sure we had a fully working and reliable car for as much testing as possible before the contest. A special thanks to our sponsors and to all the people involved in the project!
