He was a dirty player that particular night. Right after the hit he was chuckling and acting amused on the sharks bench. Also of course that was another one of those Avs squads that had no toughness so no accountability was given/enforced.

I remember seeing him at the practice facility after the hit and he looked like he didn’t know where he was so good to see he was able to still make a career out of pro hockey.

I don’t recall the hit. But Blake was never a dirty player. Things happen, it’s a physical game.

I wonder if Mueller could’ve caught on with another NHL team? Or chose to remain in Europe? The European leagues are typically much less physical. So maybe he thought it better for his longevity.
