For the fourth consecutive year, Clear River Racing is once again representing Karlstad University during this annual Formula Student showdown at the Silverstone Circuit. This year, the team consists of 38 students from various engineering programmes, and our aim still remains intact: to build a reliable, high-end racing car ready to reach the top. How will we make this possible? The answer is simple. Clear River Racing is using top products and materials developed by Swedish companies with cutting edge technology.

The aim this year is to produce an improved racing car that can go all the way throughout the competition. The total weight of the car is reduced, since we have chosen more efficient parts and the design of the body is lighter. The project is made possible through both material and financial support from local and leading global Swedish companies. We design and produce the majority of the vehicle ourselves in our well-equipped workshop.

According to the judges, our previous car had one of the strongest engines and one of the most appealing bodies. This year, Clear River Racing, with our passion and hard work, is positive of success and aims to reach top rankings in Formula Student.
