The ENIM Racing Team was established in September 2009. For our first year in the FSAE challenge in 2010, we participated in the events in England and Hungary. In 2011, the team, composed of 6 highly motivated members, developed an all-new car for Class 1. The 2011 car has been designed on knowledge gained from previous competitions. Our major goal was to reduce the weight to 220kg. To reach this objective we reconsidered all the design philosophy, mostly by designing a lighter chassis (35% loss of weight), lighter suspension and transmission parts which represent our biggest weight reductions.

Other improvements are improved suspension design and drivetrain efficiency. Also, the engine performances were improved due to works on the development of the intake, exhaust and cooling systems. The safety and environment of the driver were also key factors of our 2011 car design.

With more experience and improvement in engineering, ERT is aiming to achieve a high finish and performance level at FS.
