Aristotle Racing Team from Thessaloniki, Greece, will be again in Silverstone this summer competing in Class 1. After its successful attempt in Formula ATA last September, where the team won the Most Friendly Team Award, ART decided to improve the ART-FS10 and participate in Formula Student. The team, which is awaiting this unique experience, is renewed by 50 percent of new and enthusiastic students, who had a lot to learn in a short period of time.
The ART-FS10 is a powerful, lightweight and reliable car, easily adjustable for changes of driver, weather and track. Additionally, the use of advanced materials such as carbon fibre, aluminum alloys and high alloyed steel ensures the safety and maintainability of the car. The engine operates both conventional and E85 fuel making the car friendlier to the environment.
The basic goals were reached by last year’s design, so this year improvements were focused on aesthetics and reliability. The overall package has transformed to a more attractive and stylish finish. Also, multiple testing with different set-ups not only made the car reliable but also made the driver’s job as simple as possible.
The expectations are high and the target is making the top 15.
