The Running Snail Racing Team was established in August 2004 at the OTH Amberg-Weiden. After building eight combustion cars, the “RS16” is our fourth generation electric powered race car.

Competing in Silverstone (UK), Autodrom Most (CZ), Hockenheim (D) and Györ (HU) with the RS16 the team developed the RS15 and

Achieving a reduction of weight while simultaneously increasing the power of the car was set as the target to be able to successfully compete against combustion and e-cars on the track.
