“Formula UEM is a multidisciplinary team made up of around 70 students of Universidad Europea de Madrid.
Our people belong to different faculties. Many of us are mechanical, electrical or civil engineers, as well as from the arts & architecture departments. For our community management we rely on business administration, journalism, and marketing students. Formula UEM team accepts students of all degree years in order to transmit the knowledge acquired by the veterans to the new students of our university.
Our team is divided in 7 sub teams: Powertrain, Suspensions, Bodywork, CAD&CAE, Electronics, Chassis and Marketing & Sponsorships. We work daily together involving each of our members in a complete workshop experience, in which quality and teamwork are the mottos. Improvement and innovation are what motivate us to go beyond the frontiers.
Banco Santander Universidad’s and Universidad Europea de Madrid are our main sponsors. Furthermore, we proudly have national and international companies supporting us such as SKF, Tyre Consortium, Loctite, TexTreme, WD-40, RS, i-Alpe, Roberlo, Altran, Aquarena, Igus, AVL, Altair and SolidWorks. Their collaboration and support have been vital and can be appreciated on the vehicle performance.”
