2016 is the year that the University of Bath enters its first electric vehicle to the formula student competition.
We aim to create a hub of electric vehicle technology at Bath. Our aim for this year is to have a reliable powertrain which passes scrutineering. In the next couple of years, we aim to establish ourselves as one of the UK’s top teams.
Having started the year with no predecessor car/team and no formal sponsorship, we’ve worked hard to develop both the car and our relationships with partner companies. We now have both a working vehicle and partnerships with 30 companies, to whom we are incredibly grateful for their support.
