UGRacing recorded their best ever result at Formula Student 2015. The team is almost completely made up of undergraduate engineers, all of whom do this in their free time. UGR-16 is the spiritual successor of the 2015 car, and the team hope to better their results in every event at the 2016 competition.
This year sees some exciting steps forward for the team, most crucially a wireless data transmission from the car on track to pits, as well as solenoid electronic gear shifter. UGRacing would like to thank all its sponsors that have helped make UGR-16 a reality.
A special mention is given to Arnold Clark and HOWCO. Without their help the team would not have been able to achieve everything so far. A final thanks goes to everyone at the University of Glasgow who puts up with us throughout the year!
