Team profile
Since JUST formula student team was established recently and lacks the experience in designing and building racing cars, it was decided from the beginning to keep the design as simple as possible.
Relying on the principles of basic race car design without any frills, therefore, the car was designed with a spaceframe chassis in compliance with formula student regulations.
The design of the car was accomplished with a small team members, therefore some items had to be bought rather than design and manufactured by the team.
Regarding design choices many designs for intake system were considered and analyzed with flow simulation software.
Many suspension designs were considered, a pullrod suspension was used in the front while pushrod design was used in the rear.
The vision of the formula student team is to continue developing racecars for future competitions, and to establish an automotive research center at JUST.
Our sponsors are Jordan University of Science and Technology, King Abdullah II Fund for Development, King Abdullah II Design & Development Bureau (KADDB), Aramex(Package Shipping Company), Royal Jordanian.
The team is hoping to secure sponsorship from technology companies hoping to gain strong technical support as this is lacking in the moment
