Team Profile

The Herkules Racing Team of the University of Kassel was founded in 2009 and is participating in the Formula Student competition since 2011. Our team consists of 54 members and is divided in five departments: engine, chassis, bodywork, electronics and economics.

After the great succeeds we achieved with our last cars we are looking forward to compete in 2014 with an even better developed and lighter car. Therefore one of our main goals is to create an aero dynamical package, which contains a diffusor as well as rear and front wings with adjustable flaps. The engine has been tuned to deliver more torque and to be more efficient. To accomplish this goal we build based on experience we have gained within the last years to improve our existing concepts and to significantly reduce our identified weaknesses.

We want to keep the top ten placement from last year. This is another important purpose.
