Team Profile

The team consists of around 30 students from 12 countries; we have expanded from previous years bringing on board students from across the engineering courses within the faculty, as well as from across the wider university.

The team uses a three phase process – Design, Production and Race – which is then sub-divided into six systems per phase. Consequently individuals will not be in one job permanently, so they can each use their own personal strengths to benefit the team – thus we operate more efficiently as a group. The overall Team Manager meets with the Faculty Advisor and System Leaders once a week to feedback on progress and assign tasks for the coming period.

Through keeping the management team from the previous year, a more evolutionary approach has been taken to the design of the current vehicle – something previously never achieved.

The vehicle is designed around a low weight, low centre of gravity ethos. Everything has been optimised in terms of placement, but also of how many functions it can provide to the vehicle.

A massive thank you to JORacing.dk and OBR for supporting our vehicle electronics, and to our other partners who have helped make this car possible!
