Blue Flash Mobility Concepts is a new and unique team founded in 2015 by the technical faculty of the HAWK in Göttingen.
In 2016 our team now consists of approximately 35 students from 3 different faculties in Göttingen and Hildesheim, cities located in Lower Saxony. Our team works in an interdisciplinary manner which combines the skills from engineering, design, and marketing to create a strong, unified and recognizable identity.
The E_Hawk16, our first team car, is designed to be the lightest first year car since the beginning of the competition. It will weigh only about 199 kilos. For that reason, we use 2 motors with only 25 kW of power. The second unique part of this car is the safety concept, which includes driver-optimized ergonomics, a passive cooling material inside the accumulator container, and a low voltage concept. We use two specific transversal flux motors which assure high efficiency and a big curve of torque by a maximum voltage of 58.1V.
Our main goals for this season are to create a light, reliable and fast car, which will successfully finish every dynamic event, and to gain valuable experience to help us in our future work.
