Team Profile:

Team Spark is the only Icelandic Formula Student team. Since 2011 Team Spark has competed yearly at the Silverstone racetrack. This year the team has showed up with a car which design emphasizes on performance and sustainability. This years design was enhanced from last year, and built in a single year by a team of 39 Icelandic engineering students from various departments. We are proud of the fact that a quarter of our team is female, making the group

diverse and multidisciplinary. The team shortened the design time, giving an extra month in testing and improving the build. Last year Team Spark was awarded the Best newcomer in class 1 award, therefore the goals for this year are ambitious and the team hopes to exceed expectations again this year.
